Project Scope: Development and implementation of a new production technology for Pipe-in-Pipe with an innovative Electrically Trace-Heated Flowline (EHTF) system.
Direct and control transfer of a new EHTF technology from the design phase into the production.
Plan and execution of the production readiness, incl. management of internal and external stakeholders.
Custodian of all benchmarks & norms applicable to the Fabrication Activities for EHTF Pipe in Pipe systems.
Delivered projects: AkerBP Ærfugl Phase 1, BP Manuel and AkerBP Ærfugl Phase 2.

Production Line for the Electrically Trace-Heated Flowline (EHTF) Pipe-in-Pipe
Project Manager

Project Scope: : Delivery of a newbuild production line for the Pipe in Pipe assembly including Electrically Trace-Heated Flowline (EHTF) systems for the Spoolbase located at Vigra, Norway.
Drive CAPEX project within time and budget. Contract value $5M.
Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of a new production line consisting of the tensioner, cables spiralling machine, insulation wrapping line and number of miscellaneous equipment.
Hand over the new production line in fully operational and compliant condition to the production team.

Heavy Lift and Pipelay Vessel Seven Borealis Audit

Project Scope: Audit of the flagship Heavy Lift and Pipelay Vessel Seven Borealis
Reviewed fully integrated pipelay systems in line with Pipe Group requirements and formulated reports.
Assessed documentation, certification, FMECA status, and technical specification of all systems installed.
Provided findings and solutions/improvements to senior management of Offshore Resources, Subsea 7.

Seven Kestrel DSV
Dive System Package Manager

Project’s Main Stakeholders: Subsea7, Hyundai Heavy Industry, Drass Galeazzi Underwater Technology, Fathom Systems, Parkburn Precision Handling Systems Ltd, Oceanwide S.a.S. B.V., DnV GL
Project Scope: Delivery of the complete 18man, 300msw, twin bell Dive System, compliant with DnV GL and IMCA on board of Seven Kestrel Dive Support Vessel.
Oversaw all functions associated with the engineering, procurement and construction of Saturation Diving System, from concept development, FEED study, specifications, documents review and approval, FMECAs to FATs (EPC).
Spearheaded equipment installation on board, commissioning, final tests, sea trials, and system approval at Hyundai Heavy Industry Shipyard on behalf of Subsea7, as well as hand over in compliance with set service level agreements and standards.
Forecasted CAPEX budgets and costs as well as managed technical validation and approval of VOs and quotations.

Innovative Piggyback Clamping System
Senior Project Engineer

· Project Scope: Developed an innovative, automated piggyback pipe clamping system
Held the concurrent responsibility for conceptual design (FEED), also subsequent completion of the detailed design, manufacture, installation and the commissioning of an automated piggyback pipe clamping system, on board of Seven Oceans pipelay vessel.
Ensured consistency and quality within each aspect of project through complete designing, construction, installation, and commissioning of Piggyback system (EPC project).
Performed as R&D and project engineer for a project requiring extensive research on advance FEM techniques while co-authoring three patents and enabling project to receive recognition in the industry as a breakthrough technology.
Demonstrated industry knowledge design capabilities to achieve lay rates of up to 1000m/h during installation of 140km long pipeline, Laggan-Tormore Project, Shetland.

J-Lay System Upgrade

· Project Scope: Deep water J-Lay System upgrade on board of flexlay vessel Seven Seas
Co-developed a concept of the J-Lay system upgrade, specification for subcontractors and suppliers.
Delivered active functional support by heading subcontractors; reviewed and approved key engineering documents as well as evaluated FAT procedures and equipment approval/sign off.

Diving Bells Launch & Recovery Systems
Principal Engineer

· Project Scope: Commissioning for a new build launch and recovery systems on Seven Atlantic Dive Support Vessel
Directed equipment installation on the vessel as well as commissioning of the launch and recovery systems.
Developed required procedures and led the commissioning, final SAT, and first sea trials within schedule.
Hand over in compliance with technical specification, IMCA and Lloyd’s Register standards.

Diving Bells Launch & Recovery System
Team Leader

Project Scope: Design development of new Triple Winch Handling Systems for Diving Bells in newly built DSV’s
Steered design as well as Launch and Recovery Systems for Diving Bells from conception to final approval.
Singlehandedly invented the triple Handling system (LARS) used as an industry standard and implication on numerous new Dive Support Vessels (Seven Atlantic, Scandi Achiever, Scandi Arctic, and other).
Supervised engineering review and approval as well as communication with clients and approval authorities.
Progressed through senior engineer to LARS team leader within three months by inventing the new concept.
